Life updates-
I have completed the initial process to accept a wonderful jazz trumpet career by meeting with a United States Air Force recruiter and scheduling my medical/physical and written examinations, to then enlist and ship out to basic training. I am so excited at the possibility of performing at such a high caliber and with the best musicians anywhere in the world. Still have a lot of processing to go through before I'm approved, but here's the hope.
I have completed all my coursework for my master's degree at OU, and only have to pass a comprehensive exam towards the end of this semester to finish graduate school. In the meantime, I'm still a teaching assistant here, which means it's even more rewarding to stick around.
-I can truly say that I've been proud of myself lately. I've been working at this for years and the payoff is finally coming around. For everyone who's gotten the whole "sorry, I've been busy" schpiel, don't worry, it's about to get a lot worse.
EVERYONE let's keep firin' it up.
Eega-frickin-doogoo.
